We are seeking for a talented and highly motivated scientist to join our Display Technologies Unit focusing on screening antibody and peptide phage display libraries and identifying candidate molecules. In this position, the candidate will contribute to the design, generation and use of libraries and will design and implement the screening methodologies to identify antibody and peptide therapeutics using phage display, as well as developing the functional in vitro and cell-based assays to confirm the binding and the biological properties of the selected molecules. She/he will work within a cross-functional research team, including experienced biochemists, bioengineers, bioinformaticians, and chemists and is expected design, plan and conduct, experiments independently in support of various research projects. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to developing novel methods and technologies: the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel, to communicate clearly and effectively and build open and collaborative relationships is essential
Required: Master’s degree in biology, biochemistry, bioengineering or related disciplines with at 5+ years relevant experience in academia or Biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry
Preferred Ph.D. in Ph.D. in Biological Science (Biochemistry, Protein Chemistry, Protein Engineering) or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience in experience in academia or Biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry.
