On our website we use cookies and other tracking tools that allow us to make your online browsing easier, faster and more interactive. This notice describes the cookies used and how to deactivate or activate the foreseen cookies. This policy must be consulted together with the Privacy Policy ( made available on this website and of which it forms an integral part.

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device and that allow you to customize your online browsing or just make it simpler, more reliable and more useful (by memorizing, for example, the language in which you want to consult a site, login credentials to access to restricted areas, etc.). Thanks to cookies, it is therefore possible to collect information regarding your online browsing and use it to facilitate or personalize your browsing experience.

In a similar way to cookies, other tracking tools are being developed that allow the same purposes to be pursued. These tracking tools can be categorized according to a series of different criteria, however, the main grouping criterion remains that of the purpose for which they are used: of a technical or commercial nature. These tools include, for example, pixels, fingerprinting tools, etc.

Cookies can be associated with information that allows identification of the user that is provided when registering for an online service or during connection, such as the e-mail address when requesting information via the contact form.

While browsing this site we can use various types of cookies, different in type and purpose. In general, the cookies and other tracking tools used are classified according to the following macro-categories i) technical cookies, which are used to make the site work and ii) profiling cookies, which are used to track the user’s behavior and to analyze it in order to offer him services based on his preferences.

The relevant details are below:

1) Technical cookies that do not require the user’s consent

Technical cookies are used in order to carry out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network or to provide an IT service explicitly requested by you.

This category includes cookies, which pursue the purposes indicated respectively:

  • navigation or session cookies: are used to guarantee normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to make a reservation or to authenticate in order to access restricted areas);
  • anonymous analytics cookies: are used only to collect information, in aggregate form and therefore not attributable to the individual, relating to the number of users, the most visited pages, the places from which you connect, etc. for the purpose of processing statistics on the service and use of the site. These cookies can also be from third parties. In this case, however, the site owner has made them anonymous (having masked at least the fourth component of the IP address) and the third party refrains from combining analytics cookies with other processing (for example: customer files or site visit statistics). other sites) or from transmitting them to other third parties;
  • functionality cookies: allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (for example, the language) in order to improve the service rendered to the same.

Legal basis. For technical cookies, the legal basis lies in the execution of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Article 6, letter b) of the GDPR) as they are necessary to make the site and the service requested by users usable. The use of these cookies does not require your consent.

Necessity of providing data and consequences. The supply of data collected through the cookies described above is not mandatory, however it is necessary for connecting to the site and providing the service. In the partial or total absence of this supply, you will not be able to use the site or there may be problems in using it.

The list of technical cookies used by this site with the relative characteristics is available in the appropriate cookie area accessible from the banner or at the bottom of this notice.

2) Profiling cookies and other tracking tools, which require the user’s consent

Profiling cookies and other tracking tools allow user’s behavior to be tracked using automated tools while browsing the internet. They have the purpose of leading specific, identified or identifiable subjects to specific actions or recurring behavioral patterns in the use of the features offered for the purpose of grouping the different profiles within homogeneous clusters of different sizes, so that it is possible to the Data Controller or third parties, among other things, also to modulate the supply of the service in an increasingly personalized way beyond what is strictly necessary for the provision of the service, as well as to send targeted advertising messages, i.e. in line with the preferences expressed by the user in the context of surfing the web.

Profiling cookies and other tracking tools with a non-technical function can be:

  • of first party: installed directly by the Data Controller on his own site.
  • of third party: installed on the Data Controller’s website by a third party. On third-party cookies, the Data Controller has no control over the activity and purpose of the third party, nor over the possibility that the latter may change them over time. To this regard, the Data Controller acts as an intermediary and in this capacity, please refer to the notice of the third party, which can be reached through the link placed next to each of the cookies indicated in the appropriate cookies area at the bottom.

Profiling cookies are also the non-anonymised analytics cookies used by the third party, when the site owner has not made them anonymous (having not masked at least the fourth component of the IP address) and the third party combines the analytics cookies with other processing (eg: customer files or statistics of visits to other sites) or transmits them to other third parties.

Legal basis. The use of profiling cookies (including non-anonymised analytics) and other tracking tools can only take place with your consent, which constitutes the legal basis for the processing of data collected through these cookies, in compliance with the provisions of art. 6, letter. a) of the GDPR. Consent can be provided or revoked by you at any time by operating directly in the appropriate cookie area accessible from the banner (“Preferences”) or by changing the settings of the browser you are using for web browsing. We remind you that profiling cookies will be effectively operational if you click the “I accept all” button located on the banner dedicated to cookies on the website.

Necessity of providing data and consequences. Failure to provide data following your lack of consent for these cookies has no consequence for the purposes of browsing the site and its use but makes it impossible to offer you advertising messages on services in line with your preferences and your real interests expressed as part of your web browsing.

Below are the procedures for changing the cookie settings and the links to the relevant pages of the main browsers on the market.

Based on the duration of the cookies, we distinguish between i) temporary (or session) cookies: the data collected by these cookies are kept for a limited period which corresponds to the duration of your browsing session and ii) permanent cookies: they have the function of memorize data (for example, the password for the access to restricted areas, thus avoiding that it has to be entered at each visit). The information collected by these cookies therefore remains memorized in the device used for navigation even after the browser is closed.
