By Car:
Take via Cristoforo Colombo (piazza Numa Pompilio) and follow signposting indicating EUR-via Pontina for approximately 7 kilometers. After having passed an ornamental lake and a circular, indoor sports arena, follow signposting indicating Pontina. Drive a further 15 kilometers along the multi-lane via Pontina highway to Pomezia. Take the off-ramp immediately following the overhead road bridge (via dei Castelli Romani-via del Mare). Follow the IRBM signposting for approximately 500 meters.
By Taxi:
Choose authorized taxis (white cars with a taximeter), easily found at the main station or in official taxi parking lots throughout Rome. Taxis can also be booked by phone by calling 060609, the official municipal taxi service number. Make sure to ask the driver about supplements, as traveling outside the G.R.A. (Grande Raccordo Anulare ring road)—including to Pomezia—will incur an extra charge, in addition to possible surcharges for luggage, night service, or holiday travel.
By Public Transportation:
Board the Line B Metro underground, from Termini direction Roma Laurentina. Get off at Laurentina and board the blue COTRAL bus serving Pomezia. Buses depart every forty minutes and take approximately 25 minutes to reach Pomezia. It takes about ten minutes walking from the Bus Stop toward IRBM. If you reach piazza Municipio in Pomezia, taxis drive to IRBM in five minutes (taxi cost approximately € 6.00)
By Car:
Coming from Fiumicino Airport, take the motorway A91 towards Roma and follow it for approximately 11 kilometers. Take the off-ramp indicating G.R.A. (Grande Raccordo Anulare ring road) until exit 26 for SS148 towards Pontina/Pomezia/Latina. Enter Via Pontina/SR148. Take the exit towards Pomezia/Castelli Romani. Enter Via Pontina Vecchia. Continue straight on to stay on Via Pontina Vecchia. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit until IRBM Science Park.
By Taxi:
We recommend that you use only authorized taxis (white vehicles with a taximeter) available at the arrivals areas of each terminal. In addition to current standard fares, supplements might be asked for luggage, night-time runs, and public holidays.
By Public Transportation:
You can reach Termini Station by taking the Leonardo Express direct train, leaving every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 35 minutes at a cost of €9.50. From Termini station, board Line B Metro Underground in the direction of Roma Laurentina. Get off at Laurentina and board the blue COTRAL bus serving Pomezia. Buses depart every forty minutes and take approximately 25 minutes to reach Pomezia. It takes about ten minutes walking from the Bus Stop toward IRBM. If you reach piazza Municipio in Pomezia, taxis drive to IRBM in five minutes (cost approximately € 6.00).
By Car:
Coming from Ciampino Airport, leaving Ciampino Airport with the Guard Station at your left, turn right and take SS7 Via Appia. Drive along this way for 1.5 Km approximately, directed to G.R.A. (Grande Raccordo Anulare ring road): pass one exit and continue for 50 mt; here U-turn to the left direction G.R.A.. As you see the signposting indicating Fiumicino-Pontina, turn right taking the off-ramp indicating G.R.A. Go on about for 10 Km. Exit 26 (Pontina Pomezia Latina) will permit you to reach Via Pontina. Continue on this highway as long as you will see the signposting indicating Via dei Castelli Romani. Take the off-ramp immediately and follow the IRBM signposting for approximately 500 meters.
