IRBM’s Phage Display Team is expert at developing and interrogating Phage Display libraries to identify therapeutic antibodies, whichever function you aim to achieve.

Our IRBM Antibody Library (IAL) is a fully human Phage Display library comprised of over 60 billion unique variants, with the diversity and design to deliver therapeutic leads against all types of antigens, including difficult targets. IAL is a single chain fragment variable (scFv) display library possessing extensive diversity in the H-CDR3, with variations carefully selected to mirror the human immune repertoire.

In addition to H-CDR3, other H-CDRs and L-CDRs play a crucial role in determining the overall affinity of an antibody. The IRBM Affinity Maturation Library (IAML) includes variations that occur naturally in the H- and L-CDRs of the germlines defining the scFv scaffold of IAL. This generates human antibody sequences that represent fully human affinity-matured versions of each variant selected from the naive IAL.
