IRBM has developed and optimized biochemical and cell-based assays to support hit identification and lead optimization campaigns for multiple targets across several therapeutic areas including oncology, antivirals, cardiovascular, neurodegeneration and rare diseases. To drive drug design and answer fundamental biological questions, our goal is to generate a measurable signal in response to a change in a biological system.

INITIALLY WE WILL:

  • Define the biological question which the assay must answer
  • Identify the most suitable biological model and assay technology to align relevance and realization time
  • Validate the assay and provide guidance on how to best interpret the results

We’ll use this information to design the best strategy for your target and program.

At IRBM we have developed and optimized a range of biochemical and cellular assays to critically assess how molecules affect biochemical pathways within cells and the interactions between cells.

FOR BIOCHEMICAL ASSAYS, WE CAN FOLLOW

  • the enzymatic activity of the targets, including kinases, phosphatases, deacetylases, acetyl-transferases, metabolically active enzymes, deglycosylase and proteases
