About this poster
Coronaviruses can drive epidemics and pandemics, highlighting the need for pan-coronavirus antiviral strategies that go beyond single-strain solutions. This poster focuses on discontinuous transcription, an essential process shared across coronaviruses, and describes a phenotypic cellular approach built to interrogate this process in a screening-compatible format. The work reports establishing a stable model of coronavirus replication and shows that a high-throughput campaign can surface compounds with promising potency and selectivity profiles. An expanded set of follow-up assays is now being validated to deepen hit characterization and clarify mode of action. Download the poster to see how the model and assay workflow support discovery efforts targeting coronavirus transcription biology.
