The IRBM Group has always been committed to promoting a corporate culture inspired by ethics and legality promoting the highest standards of integrity and correct behavior.

On March 10, 2023 the Italian Legislative Decree no. 24/2023 has been issued (so-called “Whistleblowing Decree”) transposing EU Directive 2019/1937 aimed at ensuring adequate protection for people working in the public or private sector who decide to report violations of regulatory provisions of which they have become aware within their work context.

In particular, the Whistleblowing Decree aims to strengthen the protection of whistleblowers by: (i) introducing effective, confidential and secure reporting channels; (ii) ensuring effective protection of whistleblowers from retaliation (confidentiality, prohibition of retaliatory acts and limitations of liability).

The Company, in compliance with the aforementioned legislation, has adopted a specific procedure aimed at regulating the phases of transmission and management of reports, preparing and activating a specific internal reporting channel. Through the establishment and invitation to conscious use of their internal reporting channels, the companies of the IRBM Group aim to prevent and oppose illicit behavior that is contrary to the principles and rules prescribed in their organizational models, codes of ethics and company policies, protecting the confidentiality of the whistleblowers and other subjects involved and safeguarding them from the risks of possible retaliation, in full compliance with all applicable legal provisions.

In this regard, it should be noted that the IRBM Group has adopted a reporting channel accessible through the use of the web platform called “Legality Whistleblowing” managed by an external company, specialized in internal reporting systems for companies. The data is therefore not transferred or managed via the Group’s servers and this guarantees that i) the reports cannot be traced, ii) the personal data are always protected and iii) only the President of the Supervisory Body, appointed as Person responsible to manage the whistleblowing reports, has access to said data in order to follow up on the reports.
